A sharp recovery condition for block sparse signals by block orthogonal multi-matching pursuit

چکیده
We consider the block orthogonal multi-matching pursuit (BOMMP) algorithm for the recovery of block sparse signals. A sharp bound is obtained for the exact reconstruction of block K-sparse signals via the BOMMP algorithm in the noiseless case, based on the block restricted isometry constant (block-RIC). Moreover, we show that the sharp bound combining with an extra condition on the minimum l2 norm of nonzero blocks of block K−sparse signals is sufficient to recover the true support of block K-sparse signals by the BOMMP in the noise case. The significance of the results we obtain in this paper lies in the fact that making explicit use of block sparsity of block sparse signals can achieve better recovery performance than ignoring the additional structure in the problem as being in the conventional sense.

Sharp Sufficient Conditions for Stable Recovery of Block Sparse Signals by Block Orthogonal Matching Pursuit
In this paper, we use the block orthogonal matching pursuit (BOMP) algorithm to recover block sparse signals x from measurements y = Ax+v, where v is a l2 bounded noise vector (i.e., ‖v‖2 ≤ ǫ for some constant ǫ). We investigate some sufficient conditions based on the block restricted isometry property (block-RIP) for exact (when v = 0) and stable (when v 6= 0) recovery of block sparse signals ...
متن کاملRecovery of Block-Sparse Representations from Noisy Observations via Orthogonal Matching Pursuit
We study the problem of recovering the sparsity pattern of block-sparse signals from noise-corrupted measurements. A simple, efficient recovery method, namely, a block-version of the orthogonal matching pursuit (OMP) method, is considered in this paper and its behavior for recovering the block-sparsity pattern is analyzed. We provide sufficient conditions under which the block-version of the OM...
متن کاملCompressed Sensing of Block-Sparse Signals: Uncertainty Relations and Efficient Recovery
We consider compressed sensing of block-sparse signals, i.e., sparse signals that have nonzero coefficients occurring in clusters. An uncertainty relation for block-sparse signals is derived, based on a block-coherence measure, which we introduce. We then show that a block-version of the orthogonal matching pursuit algorithm recovers block k-sparse signals in no more than k steps if the block-c...
متن کاملCross Low-Dimension Pursuit for Sparse Signal Recovery from Incomplete Measurements Based on Permuted Block Diagonal Matrix
In this paper, a novel algorithm, Cross Low-dimension Pursuit, based on a new structured sparse matrix, Permuted Block Diagonal (PBD) matrix, is proposed in order to recover sparse signals from incomplete linear measurements. The main idea of the proposed method is using the PBD matrix to convert a high-dimension sparse recovery problem into two (or more) groups of highly low-dimension problems...
متن کاملA sharp recovery condition for sparse signals with partial support information via orthogonal matching pursuit
This paper considers the exact recovery of k-sparse signals in the noiseless setting and support recovery in the noisy case when some prior information on the support of the signals is available. This prior support consists of two parts. One part is a subset of the true support and another part is outside of the true support. For k-sparse signals x with the prior support which is composed of g ...
